Research and Development Overview


The Joe Duncan Group has been at the forefront of research in the field of societal and global development starting with the development of human beings, their lives and their ability to operate and function in modern society – as well as in the environments they interact with on a daily basis.

Our Generation 1.0 research program which spanned just over 10 years (2014 – 2024) was heavily focused on the development of life systems for human beings and finding solutions to the very real problems that people deal with in our world today.

We consider this the most pressing challenge of our time and believe that global development and building a better future starts by deeply understanding the challenges humans face in their lives and by actively working to develop solutions that improve lives on the ground and create better societal outcomes.

Areas of Focus

Our strategy from day one at JDG has been to gain real-world data by working with everyday people in their own lives and solving problems on the ground.

Our key areas of research have been primarily focused on developing functional life systems, universal education systems, global deployment systems and developing cost effective public service platforms and life support systems – for a global market.

JDG develops practical systems, services and infrastructure that help people, communities and organisations build stronger lives. Our work spans across education, human development, public service and global humanitarian initiatives. Explore our core capabilities below.

JDG designs, tests and develops world leading universal education based systems that are accessible to millions of people around the world. Our systems are human focused, real world tested (used daily), practical and able to be applied universally in a person’s life or in a community / organisation.

As a Humanitarian focused organisation JDG has a deep understanding and a range of experience in getting important and vital – and, in many cases life saving tools to people all over the world. This is done through many of our initiatives, social service platforms and our global volunteer network.

Our primary activity is the research and development of social science based technology for human beings. JDG has extensive real world experience in human development, increasing overall living standards for an individual or household, developing better and more well rounded human beings and building applied learning tools that actively improve the lives of human beings.

Our overall mission at JDG is to build better living and life systems for human beings on earth – starting from the ground up. The work we do at JDG gives us tremendous insight into building new life systems and developing a more advanced global architecture that can be adopted by governments, nations and every day people. Building our world starts by developing living systems and concepts that all people can adopt and benefit from.

JDG has been at the forefront of deploying essential life support services, life tools and life operating systems to people, community groups, schools, businesses and organisations all over the world – for over a decade.

Our main function as an organisation has been to conduct significant research into delivering world leading cost effectiveness and efficiency in the areas of education, the creation and deployment of essential life tools & life support services globally – along with developing and delivering world leading social responsibility & social impact initiatives and programs.

JDG is the primary holding company for all of Joe Duncan’s humanitarian, public service and global leadership, life development programs and initiatives. JDG manages the roll out of Joe Duncan’s work on the ground in over 130+ countries every day.

JDG has over 10 years of experience in building grass roots and real world communities across the globe. We pride ourselves on our ability to connect with and work with people from all regions and walks of life – to build lives, build communities, solve problems and be involved in constructive activities that build our world every day.
